First time there-very pleasantly surprised! We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Our server, Spencer, was very attentive. They have reduced prices for lunch and there was still enough to bring home. Ordered were sizzling rice soup, shrimp egg foo young, orange chicken and iced tea. The food was excellent and the price very friendly. They have a great menu and full bar. Lots of parking too. We will definitely return.
Have LOVED Flos food and service for years! Sad they aren't in Tempe anymore but it's worth the drive out to Scottsdale!
Flo's has been our go-to for great food for over 15 years. We've loved every dish, dine-in or take-out, and the people are always attentive and courteous. My favorites - Spring Rolls and Vegetable Fried Rice. Seriously! Super simple - super good. So are the Crab Puffs. Another favorite! I think we've tried just about everything on the menu. There's always more than enough, and it makes great leftovers too! No pictures today. There are so many great photos already available - no need for me to add to the mix! Besides, there are times when I just want to enjoy my food, not host a photo shoot.
I haven't eaten at flow's in over 16 years. I believe it was a different location. But the food is still as good as I remembered. The only complaint is they no longer served their house salad, which was my favorite. The dressing was delicious! I asked our server he said they have the dressing but no salad. He brought me some of the dressing but it wasn't the same one. We will be back again everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered Hot and sour soup Mongolian beef Kung pao chicken Veg chow mein (spicy) Everything was yummy Service was great as well Restaurant is nice and clean
It's been years, but finally found my way back to Flo's. Always one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Phoenix-area. Took my in-laws for the first time. They just moved from California and need a go to place for Chinese. They loved it. #DukeOfEats
Seeing my previous post I want to dial back what I said. I was graciously greeted by the staff the next time I came in and service was A1 great. Try the five spice shrimp or if you in the mood for chicken with the same flavor go with the wings. Sorry about the confusion this place has been through a lot and I'm glad they are going strong!
Delicious food and fast service! We went in on Sunday lunch. There are lots of people but their service is so fast and efficient. The hot and sour soup is so delicious. I like that the soup is heavy on sour and less on spicy and salty. The crab puff is tasty with my favorite red sauce. There are an option to choose lunch side or normal dinner side. We chose normal side and got some leftovers. The kang pao chicken is not spicy and they put black bean sauce in it. This is new for me but tasty. The cinnamon shrimp has interesting name. I can taste cinnamon in this sweet sauce. These two dishes go together very well, one is salty and one is sweet. The black hot tea is strong but comforting.
Good ambiance, friendly employees, great food. O could tell it was a popular place because there a bunch of people waiting for it to open. The smells coming out of the place while we waited for our to open were mouth watering. My brother got the Chow Fun and I got the Thai Basil Chicken.
